Welcome to the Green Monkey Business site (second edition). This site was started in October 2009 as part of a unit on recycling and energy use in 6th grade Earth Science. Students worked hard on honing their phone skills and contacted several businesses to find out more about their recycling habits. Getting the information we were looking for proved a lot tougher than we predicted and a shortage of computers prevented the students from making the site as brilliant as we envisioned it. Nevertheless, the students learned a great deal about teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and of course - recycling.
